Greetings, I invite you to participate in COIBA DIVE FEST to be held this July 16, 17, and 18, 2021, an aquatic event that brings together divers and their companions from all over the world with an interest in diving in the beautiful archipelago of COIBA. The town of Santa Catalina will be the host of the event and offers a healthy hotel offer which allows divers with different budgets to participate in the Diving Festival.

The island of COIBA is located in the province of Veraguas, Republic of Panama, and offers a diverse portfolio of dive sites, such as Wahoo Rock, Iglesias Rock, El Faro, Bufete, among others. Each of these dive sites offer opportunities to see Whale Sharks, Reef Sharks, Manta Rays, Moray eels, Giant Lobsters, Octopus, Sponge, Fan, Tube, Brain Coral and more. COIBA is simply a Paradise of marine diversity.

The COIBA DIVE FEST concept was born with the intention of offering more to the diver and his non-diver companions. In this sense, we have prepared a range of activities that not only includes diving in the spectacular dive sites on the Island of COIBA, but also for non-divers, such as: snorkeling, surfing, tours to historical sites such as the former COIBA prison, a place that in the past was one of the highest security prisons in the Isthmian country, water games for the whole family, competitions for the best underwater video and photo, cultural presentations, discover diving forums and workshops. COIBA DIVE FEST TRAVEL PACKAGES

Participating in COIBA DIVE FEST is easy and we have designed five (5) packages that allow us to accommodate divers and their companions adequately but with different budgets. It is important to note that all those who are part of COIBA DIVE FEST will be able to participate in all diving and complementary activities regardless of the package you buy. The difference between the five packages fundamentally lies in the hotel or hostel where the participant decides to stay. All the packages will have a transfer from the Tocumen International Airport to the Town of Santa Catalina where they will stay, transfers from the hotel to the departure dock of the different transfer boats to the diving points, participation in the different tours to places of historical interest, right of entry to cultural presentations, right of participation in the games and contests to be held during the activity, right of participation in the different forums. Participation in discover diving courses entails an additional cost that covers equipment and instructor rental expenses.
